With this new piece, Italy’s most important choreographer goes back to the format of the solo performance, after the seminal and celebrated Solo Goldberg.

The inspiration for the work comes from the faces of people who have resisted: ordinary people, marginal presences. Featuring a strong relationship with the visual dimension, his dance portrays the memory of a face, a gesture, a body, an action. Loaded with echoes and references, the dancer’s movement creates pictures, stories, experiences: they are solitary meditations which reveal to the spectator the layers of meanings embodied in faces, poses and figures. His is a body animated by thought, of strong emotional impact.
